
Chilukanagar: Fifteen years have been completed since the historic Telangana Million March, a major milestone in the Telangana statehood movement that took place on March 10, 2011. On the occasion, a program was held today at the Gun Park Martyrs’ Memorial in Hyderabad to remember the sacrifices of those who fought for the formation of Telangana. Speaking at the event, Nerdam Bhasker Goud, TRS party former state secretary and a Telangana movement activist, said the movement that rose with great intensity for the achievement of a separate state should always be remembered. He demanded that the Congress government fulfill the promises made to Telangana movement activists. In particular, he called for the immediate implementation of the assurance to provide 250 square yards of house sites to every movement activist. Bhasker Goud said the government should honor the sacrifices and struggles of those who participated in the Telangana movement by fulfilling the commitments made to them. He reiterated the demand that the promised benefits be delivered without further delay.
