Bairi Srinivas Goud, Founder President of the Green Peace Environment and Water Harvesting Foundation, paid a courtesy visit to Telangana Minister for Scheduled Castes Development, Tribal Welfare, Minority Welfare, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, and Senior Citizens Welfare, Adluri Laxman, at the Minister’s Quarters in Jubilee Hills. During the meeting, discussions were held on environmental protection, water conservation, and initiatives aimed at promoting a greener Telangana. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Adluri Laxman called upon people from all sections of society to actively participate in the upcoming prestigious Telangana Vanamahotsavam programme. He urged citizens to contribute towards the creation of a greener and environmentally sustainable Telangana through large-scale plantation activities. The minister emphasized that public participation is essential for increasing green cover, protecting the environment, and ensuring a better future for coming generations. Bairi Srinivas Goud appreciated the government’s efforts towards environmental conservation and reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to supporting afforestation and water-harvesting initiatives across the state.
