Cherlapally Police register e-petty case; court orders civic service as punishment

Cherlapally: Cherlapally Police registered an e-petty case against a food court owner for operating beyond the permitted business hours under the station limits.

According to police, Praveen (34), owner of Sri Venkateswara Food Court, was found running the establishment beyond the prescribed closing time on the night of July 30. He was produced before the 5th Special Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Kushaiguda.

After hearing the case, the court ordered the accused to perform Swachh Bharat community service as punishment on July 31. Cherlapally Police implemented the court’s order accordingly.
