Free Mega Medical Camp Organized at Kogilvai by NRIVA, IMA Warangal and Red Cross

 

Damera/Kogilvai, March 12 (Indian Chronicle):

A free mega medical health camp was organized on Thursday at the Government Primary School premises in Kogilvai village of Damera Mandal, Hanumakonda district under the joint aegis of NRIVA Vasavi Association, IMA Warangal, and Indian Red Cross Society Hanumakonda.

During the health camp, super-specialty doctors conducted medical check-ups related to cardiology, chest diseases, dental, orthopedics, and eye care, along with BP, sugar, and blood tests. Medicines worth ₹1 lakh were distributed free of cost to the patients.

On this occasion, with the support of Dr. Diwakar Jandhyam, computer systems and printers worth ₹2 lakhs were donated to the Government Primary School and ZPHS school. A western toilet facility was also constructed and inaugurated for the convenience of the students.

Additionally, NRI members Mr. Pavan Ravva and Mrs. Dodda Premalatha donated RO water purification plants for the schools.

Speaking on the occasion, Red Cross Chairman Dr. Pesaru Vijaya Chander Reddy said that the health camp was organized with the aim of providing quality healthcare services to the people of Kogilvai village. He stated that more than 642 villagers underwent medical check-ups and received free medicines during the camp.

Naresh, Pediatricians Dr. Ashok Reddy, Dr. Sheshu Madhav, Dr. Ashwini, ENT specialists Dr. Sudeep, Dr. Nikhil Kumar, KIMS Sunshine Hospital doctors Dr. Anand and Dr. Sakaram, Dental doctors Dr. Vikas and Dr. Snigdha, Gynecologists Dr. Siri, Dr. Shiva Bhargavi, Dr. SK Samarin, Medical Officer Dr. Radha Shruti Priya, Red Cross doctors Dr. J. Kishan Rao and Dr. Mohammad Tayyar Masood.

Red Cross staff members Gullepelli Shivakumar, Gangadhar, Upender, Jagadeeshwar, Kalpana, Ramesh, Poshalu, along with many villagers, also participated in the program.
