Jawaharnagar, July 12: As part of a visible policing initiative, Jawaharnagar Police conducted a special enforcement and awareness drive on Sunday under the supervision of the Inspector of Police, along with DI M. Srinivas, police personnel, and AR staff. During the operation, police identified three suspected ganja hotspots in Registration Colony, detained three vehicles, and booked one case of public drinking (boozing). Vehicle checking was also carried out at key locations. The police team interacted with local residents and conducted an awareness programme on cybercrime prevention, the dangers of minor driving, drug abuse, and the importance of installing CCTV cameras to enhance public safety and crime prevention. Police appealed to citizens to cooperate with law enforcement and promptly report any illegal activities in their localities.
