Visits Nehru Nagar and Markandeya Nagar with BLOs and BLAs to educate voters

Hyderabad, July 9: As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, Puppala Bhaskar, President of the BRS Party’s Suraram Division (Ward No. 129) in Quthbullapur Assembly Constituency, conducted a field-level awareness programme to educate residents about the voter enrolment process.
During the programme, he visited Nehru Nagar and Markandeya Nagar along with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs). They interacted with residents and explained the procedures for new voter registration, correction of personal details, address changes, and inclusion of eligible voters in the electoral roll.
Addressing the public, Puppala Bhaskar said that the right to vote is the foundation of democracy and urged all eligible citizens to ensure their names are included in the electoral rolls. He appealed to leaders of all political parties and welfare association members to extend full cooperation to BLOs during the revision process.
He also stressed the importance of ensuring that enumeration forms reach every household and requested local volunteers to assist BLOs in covering all areas efficiently, particularly where voters are spread across different localities.
Local party leaders Prashanth, Jameel, Akhil, Kiran, and Shiva, along with other party workers, participated in the awareness programme.
