Kapra Awaits Permanent Sub-Registrar as Registration Delays Raise Public Concer

Kapra, Medchal – Malkajgiri, July 13: Residents of Kapra have urged the State Government to appoint a permanent Sub-Registrar, alleging that the office has been functioning under an In-Charge officer for several months, resulting in delays in property registration services and inconvenience to the public.
According to local residents and document writers, the absence of a regular Sub-Registrar has affected the smooth disposal of registration applications, with several files reportedly remaining pending. They claim that applicants are being forced to make repeated visits to the office due to delays in document verification and processing.
Residents also alleged that representations highlighting the issue have been submitted to the District Collector and other senior officials, but no permanent appointment has been made. They further claimed that the increasing workload on the existing staff has slowed the registration process and affected the timely delivery of public services.
Describing Kapra as one of the fastest-growing urban areas, residents appealed to the State Government and the Department of Stamps and Registration to immediately appoint a full-fledged Sub-Registrar. They said a regular officer would help clear the backlog of pending registrations, improve administrative efficiency, and ensure transparent and citizen-friendly services.
