Hope for Humanity and Alert Foundation empower women through skill development

Mallapur: The certificate distribution ceremony for the 11th batch of women trainees at the Padma Fashion Tailoring Training Centre in Surya Nagar Colony, Mallapur, was held on Friday. The centre is jointly run by the Hope for Humanity (USA) and Alert Foundation, Vijayawada.

Nacharam CI Dhanunjay, SI Mybeli, and WASI Rajini attended the programme as chief guests and presented certificates to the women who successfully completed the tailoring course. They encouraged the trainees to achieve financial independence through self-employment.

Speaking on the occasion, Hope for Humanity Founder Koteswara Rao said the Mallapur training centre has been functioning for nearly three years and has so far trained around 60 women across 11 batches. The programme was supported through donations from members of a USA-based PTA, with the participation of Sravanthi–Subhash family, Satyaprasad, Srikanth, and training centre coordinators Saritha and Narendra.
