VIDYUTHON – 2K26 Celebrated Grandly at Bollikunta Vagdevi College

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Bollikunta, Warangal, is organizing VIDYUTHON–2K26, a five-day National-Level Techno & Cultural Fest being held from 23rd February to 27th February. As part of this grand celebration, Day 3 of the fest was successfully completed with great enthusiasm and coordination. The festivities commenced with the inaugural session on Day 1, which was graced by distinguished guests. The Principal, Dr. K.Prakash, expressed his happiness at the enthusiastic response to the fest and encouraged students to actively participate, showcase their talents, and make the best use of the opportunity, while appreciating the efforts of the department in organizing the event. The Vice Principal, Dr. K.Thirupathi Rao, highlighted the teamwork and dedication of the faculty and students and motivated participants to learn, compete, and grow through such technical and cultural activities. The Academic Dean, Dr. P. Srinivasulu, advised students to develop an innovative and research-oriented mindset, focus on practical knowledge and creativity, and utilize the platform to enhance their skills. The Head of the Department, Mr. P. Purnachander Rao, expressed pride in the successful organization of the event and encouraged students to stay updated with emerging technologies. The Event Coordinator, Mr. B. Nagaraju, Associate Professor informed that more than 250 registrations were received from different states, various colleges and departments. The smooth conduct of the program was ensured by the Student Coordinators G. Vishnu Vardhan, M. Shashidhar, K. Manasa, and B. Sathwika. Following the inauguration, Day 1 featured a workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning conducted by training expert Mr. Nawaz Syed, who explained the fundamental concepts, industry requirements, real-time applications, and future opportunities in AI–ML. Day 2 was dedicated to a hands-on AI–ML workshop, where students gained practical exposure to model development and data analysis. Day 3 featured a Hackathon, Ideathon, and Project Expo, effectively coordinated by Mrs. P. Thanuja and Mrs. K. Shravani as Faculty Coordinators, ensuring the smooth execution of all activities. The successful completion of Day 3 marked a significant milestone in the five-day celebration, reflecting the collective efforts of the department, faculty members, students, and management.
