Projects include stormwater drains, roads, sports facilities and civic infrastructure across four key areas

Hyderabad, July 30: Telangana Minister for IT, Electronics, Communications, Industries & Commerce Duddilla Sridhar Babu laid the foundation stone for development works worth ₹76.46 crore in the Uppal Assembly constituency on Thursday.
The projects will be taken up in Ramanthapur, Bhagayath-Uppal, Bodrai–Chilakanagar–Beerappagadda, and Cherlapally, focusing on the construction of stormwater drains, CC roads, footpaths, culverts, sports infrastructure, bus stop improvements and crematorium development.
Among the key works are the expansion of the Bajrang Vyayamshala with modern gym facilities, the development of a multi-sports arena, reconstruction and strengthening of culverts, installation of RCC pipelines, and improvements to the stormwater drainage network to reduce flooding during the monsoon.
Speaking on the occasion, Sridhar Babu said the Telangana government is committed to providing modern urban infrastructure and better civic amenities. He directed officials to ensure that all works are completed with high quality, transparency and within the stipulated timeframe.
The programme was attended by Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, IAS, Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Mikkilineni Manu Choudhary, IAS, Uppal Zonal Commissioner Radhika Gupta, IAS, senior officials, public representatives and engineers.
