UPPAL, JUNE 29: Uppal Congress in-charge Mandumula Parameshwar Reddy has called for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls to be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner, ensuring that no eligible voter is deprived of the right to vote. As part of his visit to Bharat Nagar in Uppal Division on Monday, Parameshwar Reddy reviewed the implementation of the SIR process at the grassroots level. He interacted with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to assess the progress of voter registration, correction of electoral details, and the overall response from the public. He urged officials to ensure that the verification process is carried out without errors and that no genuine voter is omitted from the electoral rolls during the revision exercise. Parameshwar Reddy said the right to vote is one of the strongest pillars of democracy and appealed to Congress workers to actively participate in the awareness campaign, in line with the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He also stressed the need for a free, fair, and transparent electoral roll revision, stating that the voters’ list should be free from bogus entries while safeguarding the rights of all eligible voters. The Congress leader further advised Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to assist residents in completing voter registration, corrections, and other related formalities, ensuring that the process remains simple and accessible to the public.
