CP B. Sumathi Appreciates Their Dedicated Service to the Department
MALKAJGIRI, June 30: The Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate organised a ceremonial retirement function at the Commissioner’s Office on Tuesday to honour 10 police personnel retiring from service. The programme was presided over by Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi, IPS, who felicitated the retiring officers and commended their outstanding service, dedication, and commitment to the Police Department throughout their careers. Addressing the gathering, the Commissioner said the retirees had played a significant role in maintaining law and order and had made valuable contributions to strengthening the department. She thanked them for their years of dedicated service and wished them a healthy, peaceful, and fulfilling retired life. She encouraged the officers to spend quality time with their families, pursue their interests, and continue contributing to society by sharing their vast experience. She noted that retirement marks not the end of service, but the beginning of a new phase where their knowledge and experience can continue to benefit the community. The ceremony turned emotional as family members, colleagues, and senior officers joined in honouring the retirees and celebrating their years of service. Among those present were DCP (Administration) Indira, Additional DCP (Administration) Shiv Kumar, CAOs Srinivas and C.H. Bhadra Reddy, the President of the Police Officers’ Association, directors of the Police Cooperative Society, and other senior officials.
