Works worth ₹1 crore launched to improve parks and drainage infrastructure

Medchal – Malkajgiri, July 7: Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy laid the foundation stones for a series of development works in Cherlapally Division aimed at improving civic infrastructure in the Uppal Assembly constituency.

The projects include park development works in Vasavi Shivanagar Colony at a cost of ₹20 lakh, construction of a drainage line in Chakripuram with an allocation of ₹27 lakh, a drainage line in Lakshmi Nagar costing ₹31 lakh, and drainage line works in Vidya Maruthi Colony with an estimated cost of ₹22 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that providing quality civic infrastructure remains the government’s priority. He stated that continuous efforts are being made to improve roads, drainage systems, parks, and drinking water facilities in every colony. He also reaffirmed his commitment to addressing public issues and transforming the Uppal constituency into a model constituency through sustained development.

Officials, colony welfare association representatives, BRS leaders, party workers, and local residents participated in the programme.
