Grand celebrations of the 80th Independence Day under the auspices of the ‘Khammam District Press Club’.

The 80th Independence Day celebrations were held grandly on Saturday under the leadership of District Press Club President I. Prabhakar at the branch office of the Telangana Journalist Media Union in the erstwhile Khammam district. On this occasion he, along with all the members, hoisted the national flag and sang the national anthem. They later paid tribute to the sacrifices of the country’s freedom fighters. Speaking on the occasion, they called upon everyone to act responsibly in safeguarding national unity, democratic values, and freedom and independence. District Press Club General Secretary M.D. Fasuddin, District Treasurer P. Praneeth Kumar, and other members Ravella Ravi Kumar, Ramakrishna, Lokesh, K. Kiran Kumar, Bhukya Prasad, I. Chakravarthi, Press Club In-charge Sridevi, Gandham Baburao and others participated in the program.
