Agitators from 33 districts urged to attend the programme at Yadadri
Yadadri, September 24: The Telangana Agitators’ Forum will organise its 9th anniversary meeting at Lakshmi Narasimha Function Hall in Yadadri on September 27. The programme will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the presence of devotees at the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple town.
Telangana Agitators’ Forum state media convenor Dommati Kiran Kumar Rao and co-convenor Keerthi Srinivas appealed to agitators from all 33 districts of the state to attend the meeting in large numbers and make the programme successful.
Speaking on the occasion, they said the forum, which was established nine years ago, had initiated several programmes and worked to unite Telangana movement activists while keeping the spirit of the movement alive. They said the forum had continued its efforts without interruption, stood by thousands of agitators and played a key role in efforts to establish an agitators’ committee.
They further said the forum had approached the High Court on issues concerning agitators and achieved success through legal efforts. The 9th anniversary meeting will review the forum’s journey and its activities for the welfare of Telangana movement activists.
Garika Sudhakar, Srinivas, Shiva Kumar, Narra Srinivas Reddy, Rajeswar Rao, Srikanth, Mahi and others will participate in the programme.
