Collector Mikkilineni Manu Chowdary Directs Officials to Act on Public Grievances Promptly
Medchal-Malkajgiri, September 21: Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Mikkilineni Manu Chowdary, IAS, directed officials to resolve petitions received during the Prajavani programme promptly and in accordance with the prescribed rules, without any delay.
The Collector, along with Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy, received petitions from the public during the Prajavani programme held at the Collectorate meeting hall on Monday.
A total of 106 petitions related to various departments, including Revenue, Panchayat Raj, Civil Supplies and Municipal Administration, were received from the public, the Collector said.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector directed officials to give priority to the grievances of people who had approached the programme from different parts of the district and ensure their speedy resolution.
He also instructed the concerned officials to update details of the action taken on the petitions online on a regular basis.
DRO Malathi and district officials from various departments participated in the programme.
