Yuva Sena Youth Association Conducts Special Puja for Lord Ganesha
AS Rao Nagar, September 19: A special puja was performed for Lord Ganesha at TGIIC Colony in AS Rao Nagar Division on Saturday under the auspices of the Yuva Sena Youth Association. The rituals and harathi were conducted amid Vedic chants, with a large number of devotees offering prayers.
As part of the celebrations, the Yuva Sena Youth Association organised a large-scale annadanam for devotees visiting the Ganesh mandapam.
Former corporator Singireddy Shirisha Somashekar Reddy, industrialist Naga Phanindra and Yuva Sena Youth Association chairman Singireddy Somashekar Reddy inaugurated the annadanam and served food to devotees.
Speaking on the occasion, Singireddy Somashekar Reddy said Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations promote unity, brotherhood and a spirit of service among people along with devotion. He encouraged youth to actively participate in social service activities along with spiritual programmes.
He wished that the blessings of Lord Ganesha would bring good health, happiness and prosperity to all.
Yuva Sena Youth Association representatives and members, colony elders, local residents, women, youth and devotees participated in large numbers.
