KEESARA: In a touching gesture, Malkajgiri Police Commissioner Badugula Sumathi fulfilled the dream of Rahul, a differently-abled youth from Dammaiguda, by inviting him to the Commissionerate and seating him in the Commissioner’s chair while placing a police cap on his head.

Rahul, who has been unable to walk since birth, had always aspired to become a police officer. His wish was realised with the support of Pratima Foundation and disability rights activist Merugu Shivakrishna.
Commissioner Sumathi urged society and voluntary organisations to support persons with disabilities and encourage their aspirations. Rahul’s parents expressed gratitude to the Commissioner and everyone who helped make their son’s dream come true.
