Their parents were delighted, and as they earn a good reputation at work and get promotions, they rise to higher positions. They gain respect in society. But if, driven by the same greed for money and avarice for cash, they stoop so low, even the attendants working under them will not respect them. They will not even give them the minimum value, and as for society, that goes without saying. The two women officers caught yesterday are working in two different government departments. One is a senior district-level officer, while the other is in a good-level job. They receive salaries in lakhs and additional benefits. Despite this, professionally, they became accustomed to corrupt money and took the path of illegal activities.

● Looking at the matter of Ranga Reddy District Medical and Health Officer Swarnakumari.
As a senior officer of the district, driven by greed for money, she joined hands with a health inspector and a driver and engaged in corruption. In this process, she demanded a large bribe to reopen a closed physiotherapy center and was caught by the ACB.
● Another officer is Tulasiram Sunitha, working as a supervisor in the GHMC Town Planning Department.
She is currently working at the Golconda GHMC Zonal Office. She demanded eight lakhs to favor a builder who had violated regulations in building construction and was caught by the ACB while accepting an advance of four lakhs from that amount. The moment she was caught by the ACB officials, Sunitha was suddenly shocked and burst into tears. Government employees who should be working and living with their heads held high and dignity are instead stooping so low, engaging in corruption, losing their reputation, and bringing themselves to a situation where they have to hang their heads in shame.
