
Medipally: The Uppal Builders Association conducted its General Body Meeting at Tulips Grand Hotel in Medipally under the Greater Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation limits. The meeting witnessed the participation of a large number of builders and industry representatives. The programme was chaired by Association President Akula Satyanarayana and coordinated by General Secretary Sama Satish Reddy. Telangana Builders Federation President C. Prabhakar Rao attended as the chief guest, while former Mayor Jakka Venkat Reddy and Federation Vice-President J.P. Vidyasagar participated as special invitees. Former Corporator Singireddy Padma Reddy and other members were also present. The meeting focused on several issues affecting the construction sector. Members discussed the impact of the ongoing strike by centering and masonry workers, difficulties faced by builders in obtaining services from the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL), and concerns regarding the inclusion of patta lands and registered plots in the prohibited property list. Builders shared their views and suggestions on addressing these challenges and stressed the need for policy clarity and administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the real estate and construction sectors. The association unanimously resolved to take up the issues with the government and relevant departments and work towards finding practical solutions to the problems faced by builders.
