BRS Leader Urges Officials to Ensure Hassle-Free Electoral Roll Revision; Calls for Special Assistance to Voters

Medchal – Malkajgiri, July 4: BRS Medchal Assembly Constituency In-charge Ragidi Lakshma Reddy conducted an extensive field inspection of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the Boduppal Circle of Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
Accompanied by former mayors Jakka Venkat Reddy and Samala Bucchi Reddy, Boduppal BRS President Manda Sanjeev Reddy, former corporators, division office-bearers and Booth Level Agents (BLAs), he visited polling booths in Peerzadiguda, Medipally, Boduppal and Chengicherla divisions to review the progress of the verification process.
During the inspection, Lakshma Reddy reviewed the distribution of enumeration forms, receipt of applications, voter assistance, the functioning of BLAs and public response. After interacting with voters, he brought several issues to the notice of Boduppal Deputy Commissioner Shailaja, including family members being registered at different polling booths, address correction issues, unlinked mobile numbers and difficulties faced by senior citizens, women and illiterate voters in filling forms.
He urged officials to establish special help desks and deploy adequate staff to assist voters. Responding positively, Deputy Commissioner Shailaja assured that necessary arrangements would be made to ensure that the revision process is conducted smoothly and that every eligible voter receives assistance without inconvenience.
Later, Lakshma Reddy attended a review meeting of BLAs organised under the leadership of Boduppal BRS President Manda Sanjeev Reddy and former Mayor Samala Bucchi Reddy. He instructed BLAs to visit every household, ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral rolls, assist citizens in filling forms and immediately report field-level issues to the authorities.
He also inspected the distribution of SIR forms in Boduppal and Chengicherla divisions and expressed confidence that close coordination between officials, BLAs and party workers would ensure the successful completion of the voter verification drive.
Several BRS leaders, former corporators and local party functionaries participated in the programme.
