DEOs/ACCs and Supervisors Directed to Ensure Timely and Accurate Data Updates
Medchal–Malkajgiri, September 22: A review meeting on data updating, monitoring and quality assurance of the MCH Kit Portal was conducted at the District Medical and Health Officer’s office under the supervision of District Medical and Health Officer Dr. K. Anand. DEOs/ACCs and supervisors from the concerned health centres attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. K. Anand directed the officials to ensure that maternal health parameters of pregnant women, delivery-related details and child health indicators are entered into the MCH Kit Portal completely, accurately and without delay.
He instructed the staff to cross-check field-level information with the relevant records before updating the details on the portal. Pending entries should be completed immediately, while incorrect or incomplete information already entered should be verified and corrected.
Dr. Anand also directed DEOs/ACCs and supervisors to continuously monitor MCH Kit Portal data entry at every health centre and provide necessary guidance to staff wherever required.
He stated that the information recorded on the MCH Kit Portal is crucial for monitoring maternal and child health services and would serve as an important basis for future reviews and scrutiny by higher authorities. He stressed the need to give top priority to data quality, completeness, accuracy and timely updating of information.
