Tamil Nadu Worker Found Dead in Cherlapally Hostel; Police Seek Family Members

41-year-old TKIL employee declared dead at hospital after falling ill; Cherlapally Police register case

Medchal – Malkajgiri, July 4: A 41-year-old worker from Tamil Nadu was found unresponsive at a boys’ hostel in B.N. Reddy Nagar under the Cherlapally Police Station limits on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Pappu Mithra Kali Mithra (41), a native of Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. He had been staying at GS Reddy Boys Hostel in B.N. Reddy Nagar and had been working as a fitter (fabrication) at TKIL Company in Cherlapally for the past five months. According to his co-workers, he was a habitual alcohol consumer and had been suffering from fever for the last two days. Due to illness, he remained in the hostel and went to sleep on the night of July 2. At around 7:45 a.m. on July 3, his colleagues tried to wake him but found him unresponsive. They immediately informed the hostel in-charge, Gaddu Shiva Reddy, who shifted him to Srikar Hospital at ECIL in an ambulance. Doctors examined him and declared him dead on arrival. Cherlapally Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the death. Police have appealed to the deceased’s family members, relatives, friends or anyone having information about him to contact Cherlapally Police Station at the earliest.
