Seek Occupancy Certificate Only After Completion of Amenities; Demand Speed Breakers Near Apartment Entrance

Medchal – Malkajgiri, July 4: Residents of Gulmohar Residency met Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy, accompanied by former corporator Golluri Anjaiah, and submitted a memorandum highlighting issues related to the apartment’s Occupancy Certificate (OC), pending civic amenities and road safety. The residents alleged that efforts were being made to obtain the Occupancy Certificate despite several essential facilities remaining incomplete. They urged the authorities to ensure that the OC is issued only after all mandatory amenities are completed and statutory norms are fully complied with. The residents also requested the installation of speed breakers on the road opposite the main entrance of Gulmohar Residency, stating that speeding vehicles pose a serious risk to the safety of residents and pedestrians. Receiving the memorandum, MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy assured the residents that he would take up the matter with the concerned officials. He directed the authorities to examine the issues thoroughly and take appropriate action in accordance with the rules and regulations.
