Floral tributes offered at Kushaiguda; MLA calls for upholding the ideals of social justice and equality.
Medchal – Malkajgiri, July 6: Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy paid floral tributes to the statue of former Deputy Prime Minister, freedom fighter and social reformer Babu Jagjivan Ram at Kushaiguda on the occasion of his 40th death anniversary.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA described Babu Jagjivan Ram as one of India’s most distinguished leaders who made significant contributions to the nation’s political and social development. He said Jagjivan Ram dedicated his life to the upliftment of marginalized communities, social equality, and the expansion of educational and employment opportunities.
Lakshma Reddy urged people to draw inspiration from the late leader’s ideals and uphold the values of equality, social justice and public service.
Local public representatives, welfare association members, leaders of various political parties, party workers, residents and admirers of Babu Jagjivan Ram also attended the programme and paid floral tributes to his statue.
