Directs BLOs to assist voters and create awareness during electoral roll revision
Uppal, July 14: Medchal–Malkajgiri Additional Collector Vijender Reddy directed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to expedite the collection and digitisation of completed forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and ensure that voters receive proper guidance while filling them.
Inspecting the SIR process at the 375 and 376 Polling Station Enumeration Centres in Uppal on Tuesday, the Additional Collector instructed officials to immediately digitise all forms received and speed up the overall revision process.
He emphasised that it is the responsibility of BLOs to create awareness among voters, clarify their doubts, and extend all necessary assistance in filling out the enumeration forms correctly.
Uppal MRO Pool Singh, AEROs, BLOs, and other officials were present during the inspection.
