Dhruv Kumar Gangashetty & Aryaa Dwivedi win Gamepoint Telangana State Closed Squash Championship 2025 titles

Dhruv Kumar Gangashetty and Aryaa Dwivedi emerged as champions in the Men’s and Women’s categories at the Gamepoint Telangana State Closed Squash Championship 2025, which concluded in Hyderabad today. The tournament, organised by Gamepoint under the aegis of TSRA and SRFI, witnessed high-intensity matches across multiple categories, showcasing the passion and emerging talent in squash across the state.
The finals were graced by Shri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana, who attended as the Chief Guest. He felicitated the winners and encouraged participants to continue striving for excellence.
In the Men’s final, Dhruv Kumar Gangashetty delivered a commanding performance to defeat Naseem Ali in straight games (12-10, 11-6, 11-6) and secure the coveted title. The Women’s final turned out to be the highlight of the Gamepoint Telangana State Closed Squash Championship 2025, with sisters Aryaa and Arnaa Dwivedi engaging in a thrilling five-game battle. Aryaa edged past Arnaa 11-5, 9-11, 5-11, 14-12, 11-9 in what was arguably the most electrifying match of the tournament.

Boys Under 13 (BU13): Prabhaas Kondaparthy defeated Eshan Shaik (11-1, 11-3, 11-1)
Girls Under 15 (GU15): Dhriti Ganji defeated Aanyaprashant Nichani (11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 8-11, 11-4)
Boys Under 17 (BU17): Rohan Arigala defeated Vismay Prabhu (11-5, 11-7, 11-6)
Men’s Over 35 (MO35): Survesh Chauhan defeated Sandeep Kondaparthy (11-4, 11-3, 11-7)
Men’s Over 40 (MO40): Ramit Singh defeated Mayank Malhan (12-10, 11-8, 11-5)
Men’s Over 45 (MO45): Bharath Danam defeated Priyatosh Dubey (11-8, 11-7, 11-4)
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Shri Jayesh Ranjan praised the players, saying, “Squash is gaining ground among the younger generation, and it is heartening to see such talent emerging from Telangana.
