Because out of every 100 people, only 11 manage to live beyond 60. Only 7 make it from 65 to 70. Here are 10 tips to stay happy and healthy.
Drink water – whether you feel thirsty or not. Have at least two liters a day. Water energizes every organ in your body.
Keep moving – walk, dance, play, or do whatever you enjoy, but don’t stay still. Otherwise, your joints will stiffen. Even short walks are like oxygen for your body.
Eat to live, don’t live to eat – Cut down on refined foods and include more proteins in your diet. Especially at night, reduce carbohydrate intake.
Walk or cycle as much as possible – Avoid using vehicles for short distances. walk at least 100–200 meters. Climb stairs instead of using ramps or elevators; it keeps your heart healthy.
Reduce anger and talk less – Put up a sign at home that says ‘Anger-Free Zone’. It will bring peace to your mind and happiness to those around you.
Let go of obsession with money – Earn only as much as you need to live comfortably. Don’t chase money live in such a way that money follows you.
Don’t grieve over what you didn’t get – Forget it and start something new. Every disappointment opens the door to new hope.
Control pride that comes from wealth, intelligence, beauty, power, caste, or position. Stay humble, loving, and cheerful with everyone.
Don’t worry about gray hair – Travel as long as your legs allow, and keep smiling. Gray hair is not a sign of age it’s a mark of experience.
Be friendly with everyone and respect even those younger than you. Greet people warmly, even the quiet ones. Giving respect is the first step to earning it.
