BRS State Leader Bannala Praveen Mudiraj Demands Immediate Action

Chilkanagar: BRS State leader Bannala Praveen Mudiraj has demanded the immediate removal of illegal constructions on government lands in Chilkanagar. He urged officials to demolish unauthorized structures, install fencing, and set up official government signboards to protect public property.

He stated that government lands in areas such as Mallikarjun Nagar and the region behind Bodrai have been encroached upon by private individuals. Due to these illegal constructions, sewage outlets have been blocked, causing severe inconvenience to residents. He alleged that sewage and stormwater drainage pipelines have been diverted arbitrarily, leading to major issues for the local population.

Along with local residents of Chilkanagar division, Praveen Mudiraj submitted a petition to the Uppal Tahsildar, requesting immediate intervention. He highlighted that some individuals have not only occupied government land but are also renting out illegally constructed buildings.

He further stated that private landholders are extending their constructions beyond their legal boundaries and encroaching on surrounding government lands. He demanded that such encroachments be cleared without delay and that proper government identification boards be installed.

Responding to the petition, the MRO assured that an RI would be deputed immediately for inspection. He also stated that a survey would be conducted at the earliest and that fencing and government signboards would be installed. Strict action will be taken against encroachers and those involved in illegal occupation of government land.

Several local leaders and residents, including Kondal Reddy, Jalli Mohan, Ashok Chari, Madhu, Moulali, Bharat, and Sai, participated in the program.
