On the occasion of Ramzan, former GHMC Corporator and Standing Committee Member Bannala Geetha Praveen Mudiraj conveyed her greetings to Muslim brothers and sisters in Chilkanagar and Beerappa Gadda divisions. She stated that the holy month of Ramzan, observed with fasting and prayers, promotes values such as peace, compassion, love, and brotherhood. She added that the festival reflects the spirit of communal harmony and the “Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb” in Telangana. Geetha Praveen Mudiraj highlighted that several welfare and development schemes implemented during the previous Telangana state government under KCR brought significant benefits to minority communities and continue to yield positive results. She expressed hope that people of Chilkanagar and Beerappa Gadda celebrate Ramzan with devotion and joy in a peaceful atmosphere. She further noted that the welfare initiatives implemented during the BRS government in Telangana have served as a model for the rest of the country.
