Project aims to provide a permanent solution to long-pending drainage problems in Janapriya Township

Medchal – Malkajgiri, July 8: Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy, along with former Mallapur Corporator Pannala Devender Reddy, laid the foundation stone for box drain development works worth ₹1.60 crore in Janapriya Township under Mallapur Division.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA said residents of Janapriya Township and nearby colonies had been facing severe drainage issues for several years. He expressed confidence that the construction of the new box drain would provide a permanent solution to the problem and significantly improve civic infrastructure in the area.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening basic infrastructure and ensuring better living conditions for residents across the Uppal constituency.

Local residents of Janapriya Township, BRS leaders, party workers, and other dignitaries attended the foundation-laying programme.
