Helping people with sincerity is the greatest wealth, says Collector at retirement ceremony

Medchal-Malkajgiri, June 30: Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Manu Choudhary said that the greatest reward in government service is earning the goodwill of people by treating them with respect, providing accurate information, and extending all possible assistance. The Collector, along with Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy, attended a retirement felicitation programme held at the Collectorate Video Conference Hall on Tuesday to honour Housing Project Director Ramana Murthy, Collectorate Camp Clerk Bala Bhaskar, Housing Assistant Engineer Subhash Reddy, and Office Subordinate Jermiyaz on their superannuation. Addressing the gathering, the Collector said government employees should always strive to serve people to the best of their ability. Referring to the large number of applications received under the Indiramma Housing and 2BHK Housing schemes, he noted that nearly 30,000 to 40,000 applications had been processed and appreciated Housing PD Ramana Murthy for his dedication and patience in ensuring that eligible beneficiaries received housing assistance. He also acknowledged Ramana Murthy’s 40 years of government service and wished him a fulfilling retired life with his family. The Collector also praised Bala Bhaskar for serving as an effective link between the Collector, government officials, and the public visiting the Collectorate. He remarked that among the several Camp Clerks he had worked with, Bala Bhaskar stood out for his professionalism and dedication. The retiring employees were felicitated with shawls and mementoes. Senior district officials also appreciated their contributions and wished them good health, happiness, and success in their post-retirement lives.
