Vijay to be sworn in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on Sunday..!!

The political deadlock that had gripped the state of Tamil Nadu over the past few days has finally come to an end, paving the way for the formation of a new government under the leadership of TVK chief Vijay Joseph. Tamil Nadu politics, which over the last four days had witnessed several dramatic twists resembling a suspense thriller movie, has finally reached a conclusion.
With the support of the Congress, Left parties, VCK, and IUML, Vijay is set to form the government. Governor R. V. Arlekar has granted permission for the formation of the government. Accordingly, Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday at 3 PM at the Nehru Indoor Stadium.
Earlier, on Saturday evening, after VCK and IUML announced their support, Vijay went for the fourth time to meet the Governor carrying a letter signed by 120 MLAs. Initially, the Governor denied him an appointment. However, shortly afterward, the Governor changed his mind and allotted time for the meeting.
During the meeting, Vijay sought formal approval from the Governor to form the government. He also requested the Governor to allocate time for his swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister on Sunday at 3 PM. Vijay took along the leaders of the parties supporting him to Raj Bhavan. He explained that they had the support of 120 MLAs including 107 from his own party, 5 from Congress, 2 from CPI, 2 from CPM, 2 from VCK and 2 from IUML.
