Today, 80th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr Satish Paul Raj, founder of Paul Raj Engineering College and former MLA of Vemuru were held grandly under the supervision of his son, Kranti Vidyalayam Director Somaroutu Srinivasa Rao. To mark Paul Raj Jayanti, a medical camp was organized at the local Kranti Vidyalayam with the support and generosity of ‘Netaji Hospital’ and ‘Radha Hospital’. In this camp, Orthopedic specialist Dr Hemanth, Laparoscopic surgeon G Srinivas and Gynecologist Dr Aleena Shanthi examined the patients. Netaji Hospital provided free sugar tests and bone density tests worth ₹2,500. Radha Hospitals offered free ECG and blood tests. A total of 250 people attended the camp, and all of them received free tonics and medicines. Under the supervision of SS Opticals, eye tests were conducted for 100 people.
On this occasion, Chairman Samatha stated that Kranti Vidyalayam not only excels in academics but also takes the lead in social service. Lions Club President Kamala, senior members Somasekhar, Venkata Reddy, Narasa Reddy, Jinda, Press Club President Ramanareddy, the teaching staff of Kranti Vidyalayam, and students of Maruti Nursing College participated in the program.
