Bandari Lakshma Reddy urges eligible voters to verify electoral roll details
Kapra, July 16: Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy on Thursday flagged off a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) awareness campaign vehicle in Kapra Division to create public awareness about the ongoing electoral roll revision exercise.
The campaign vehicle was launched under the leadership of BRS leader Bairy Naveen Goud to educate residents about the importance of verifying and updating their voter details.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA urged all eligible voters to check whether their names are correctly included in the electoral roll and submit applications for new registrations, corrections, address changes, or deletions within the timeframe prescribed by the Election Commission.
He said the objective of the awareness campaign was to ensure that every eligible citizen safeguards their voting rights by participating in the SIR process in accordance with the Election Commission’s guidelines. The campaign vehicle will visit different localities to spread awareness and assist residents with the voter list revision process.
BRS leaders and party workers from Kapra Division were present at the launch.
