
UPPAL: Members of the Telangana State Chicken Centre Owners Association (Uppal Division) met Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy at his residence in Sainikpuri and submitted a representation regarding the challenges faced by small-scale chicken shop owners. Association representatives stated that for the past six months, large poultry traders have been controlling chicken prices, putting severe financial pressure on small vendors. They said this situation has resulted in heavy losses for small business owners and is threatening the livelihoods of thousands of families dependent on this trade. They urged the government to immediately intervene and take necessary steps to protect small traders. They also requested the MLA to raise the issue in the Assembly and ensure justice for affected vendors. Among those present were Association President Varun Yadav, Vice President Shekhar Goud, General Secretary Hussain, Secretary Tiju Thomas, Treasurer Simmula Sripathi Reddy, Joint Secretary M.D. Abbas, and committee members M. Shivakumar and J. Karnaji, along with others.
